This Time-Lapse Captures How the Sunrise Moves Over a Year

Dawidi of Widicam.net created this beautiful time-lapse video by taking a single photo of each day’s sunrise for 365 days.

Between March 21st, 2015 and March 20th, 2016, they used a Raspberry Pi camera and a wide-angle lens mounted to a balcony in Regensburg, Germany, to shoot a photo exactly 10 minutes after sunrise.

By combining all the photos into a time-lapse, we see how the sun’s relative position in the horizon changes over the course of a year.
