Patagonia’s jagged, powerful landscape needs no help looking dramatic, but creative director and photographer Andy Lee is offering some help with his infrared photography anyway.
You may remember Lee’s work from our previous feature of his infrared images from Iceland back in 2014, but whether or not you recall his name you’re in for a landscape photography treat.
His Patagonia Dreaming series, both Part I and Part II, follows in the footsteps of Iceland and Blue Iceland by turning a well-known and potentially over-photographed landscape into something fresh through infrared photography.
All of the photos you see here were captured during a trip to Chile last year, but Lee didn’t just shoot infrared. To see the full series, click here and here for parts I and II, respectively. And if you want to see more of Lee’s work, you can find it on his website, Facebook, Twitter, and 500px.
