DON’T DO IT!!! *clears throat* ummm… I mean… this is pretty bold. The CEO of GoWing, makers of the popular Lens Flipper camera accessory previously featured here, wants to give you a heart attack and demonstrate the strength of his product at the same time.
In a crazy video released earlier today, CEO Doug Kranz starts small; he attaches a $300 Lensbaby lens to the Lens Flipper and swings that around. Then he switches to a $1,000 Canon 24-105mm f/4L lens and gives that a go. Then he steps it up one MORE time to the $1,950 Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L lens.
Finally, in case you haven’t passed out yet, he moves on up to the $10,000 Canon 400mm f/2.8L and swings that puppy around like he couldn’t care less. Watch for yourself below:
Point proven: even the biggest lenses won’t fall off a Lens Flipper. Although we still can’t recommend swinging your $10,000 lenses around your head for fun…
