The 100th running of the famous Indianapolis 500 race took place this past Sunday. Afterward, the IndyCar Series published this time-lapse video that boils the entire event down into a 1-minute visual experience.
We see fans filing into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana, at the beginning of the video and the actual race start at about 34 seconds in. The next 3 hours or so are packed into about 30 seconds, so you’re seeing about 6 minutes of action in every second of the time-lapse.
