This is What a Migration of 3,500 Reindeer Looks Like to a Camera Drone

Photographer Jan Helmer Olsen recently took his camera drone to Karasjok, Norway, and captured these beautiful aerial shots of the annual reindeer migration. 3,500 reindeer can be seen on their 2-month-long trek toward the south for warmth.

From this vantage point, the herd of reindeer’s movement looks strangely similar to a murmuration of starlings. You can find more of Olsen’s work through his Vimeo account.
