Here’s a neat, simple, and cheap little trick that’ll help you get smooth footage when shooting video or a hyperlapse with your DSLR or other ILC. If you don’t have the money or the need to pony up for a serious stabilization system, try using a shopping bag instead!
This tip comes to us courtesy of the folks over at Filmora, who shared the older video (it was released back in October) on Instructables yesterday. In it, Filmora’s Heidi shows you how cutting a hole in the side of a shopping bag can create a simple “stabilization rig.” Check out the video above to learn how it’s done, and see some sample footage.
