Think Tank Photo has announced the new Production Manager 50, the world’s largest rolling photography equipment case. It’s designed to help you safely take an “immense” amount of camera gear on the road.
“One photographer will now be able to transport what it used to take up to at least two assistants,” Think Tank says. “It is easy to move, carry, work out of, and stack among other gear.”
The 17.3×53.1×12.6-inch case features shock-absorbing wheels, a lock and cable that secures the main compartment, and an interior that can be fully customized with dividers. By itself, the case weighs about 21 to 30 pounds depending on which accessories you use.
A large zippered pocket on the front lets you store reflectors, umbrellas, cords and cables, and more. Straps help you attach light stands and tripods on both sides of the case, and handles on all 4 sides aid with picking the case up.
Here’s what can fit inside the case: 3-4 flash heads, 2-3 power packs, monoblocks, umbrellas, large collapsed softboxes/modifiers, and large light stands.
The Think Tank Photo Production Manager 50 is available for sale now with a price tag of $600.
