Here’s a simple idea that might just solve some of your storage woes. If you’re looking for a place to store your collection of camera lenses, try organizing them in a clear plastic shoe holder—the kind you hang on the back of a closet door.
The tip comes from YouTuber and photography educator Michael Andrew who has been using this storage and organizing solution for seven years without any issues.
The sturdier shoe holders he buys—make sure you get the ones with reinforced holes for hanging—only cost him about $10 and the pockets are large enough for lenses, flashes, or even smaller camera bodies. And while it’s not sturdy enough for Michael to trust it with his white L lenses, he has never had a problem with one of them falling down.
