Buried in the depths of the Internet, these two interviews from 1999 with some very famous names in photography might just give you the inspiration you need for your next shoot.
Appearing on the Charlie Rose interview show on PBS, Annie Leibovitz gives an insight into a new book she was releasing at the time: Women.
“I’ve never been that interested in the technical end as much as I’ve been interested in how important it is to see – and how you see,” says Leibovitz.
Annie is known for photographing some of the biggest household names in the world, and has herself become a celebrity of sorts.
The late Richard Avedon, who was also featured on the same episode of Charlie Rose, took images that changed the world of fashion photography, with the New York Times saying that “his fashion and portrait photographs helped define America’s image of style, beauty and culture for the last half-century.”
