Photographer Jan Helmer Olsen recently took his camera drone to Karasjok, Norway, and captured these beautiful aerial shots of the annual reindeer migration. 3,500 reindeer can be seen on their 2-month-long trek toward the south for warmth.
From this vantage point, the herd of reindeer’s movement looks strangely similar to a murmuration of starlings. You can find more of Olsen’s work through his Vimeo account.
